Lot of Tech Enthusiasts like us, sometimes import Smartphones from other countries only to find that the smartphone is a carrier locked phone or a region locked phone & you can't use the smartphone in your country until you unlock it…
If you try to insert your country's operator's sim card in the imported phone, an error message will show on your phone's display saying, invalid sim card network locked…
This simply means that, since you have imported the phone from another region of the world & some smartphone manufacturers like Samsung put a Network or region lock in their higher-end smartphones, you will not be able to use the phone in your home country until you have a Samsung region unlock code…
In this article, I will provide a guide which will show you how you can legally claim an Unlock code directly from Samsung for your Network locked Samsung Smartphones which you have imported from other countries…
I have shared this procedure with many people who were facing the same issue & this solved the problem for them & they didn't have to pay for the Samsung region unlock code as they got it for free directly from Samsung…
Be reminded, this will ONLY work if your mobile is locked to Europe region..If you have a locked mobile phone from other regions like Asia, US or from any other region , then please send an email to that country's Samsung customer care..If you don't know how to send an email to Samsung customer care, then please go to the Samsung Global Regions Contact Page…

From the above page, click on the country your Smartphone is actually from & you will see a “Contact Us” page below every country's Samsung page..From there, you will be able to send E Mail to Samsung customer care of that country…
Please remember, you will need to send the email to the country your Samsung Smartphone is from , not the country where you live..For example, if you purchased a mobile from UK & you live in US, then you will need to contact Samsung UK & not Samsung US..
For people who's mobiles are locked in Europe/UK region , please follow the below :-
Send an E Mail To Samsung Germany & say that you need an Unlock Code for your region locked Samsung Smartphone…

Send the above to the above mentioned E Mail ID & you will get a reply in German language within 24 hours…Try to send the E Mail from a G Mail ID because it can translate the E Mail reply to English or to your own language…
Hopefully they will reply to you that, they will soon provide you the Unlock Code by E mail…Then just wait for 5-6 days & you will get the Unlock Code from them…If they don't send you the code within a week , do remind them that you are still waiting for the Unlock code by sending another E Mail to them…
Please don't just copy & paste the above letter..Keep the format same & use your own words if possible..
